Hi ... I found the book listed and for sale (although out of stock right
now) at Amazon's U.K. site.  It is NOT "banned" in the U.S. in any way shape
or form -- it simply was not *PUBLISHED* here.  As it was published IN
Britain (by a British publisher), not in the U.S., that all by itself is
sufficient to explain why it is not available from U.S. distributors.
Distributors (Baker and Taylor, Ingram, and their ilk) deal with U.S.
publishers almost exclusively, I believe, and therefore cannot afford to
carry foreign books, as it would simply be too expensive for them to do so,
at least on any general basis.  As for openness of the discussions here ...
well, that has been addressed recently on the list.  ALL that is posted here
is immediately available to the entire world.  Every word of it.  This is
not a private conversation.
