Tech: Epson scanner

Fellow LM_NETTERs,
        We are currently looking at purchasing an Epson Expression 636 Artist 2
model scanner w/ Epson scanning Utility software for $699.00. Does
anyone have any experience w/ this scanner and/or Epson scanning utility
