community study

Our third and fourth graders are starting a community study unit in
November. Their social studies book covers the following areas: Juneau, AK,
San Francisco, St. Augustine, FL, and Pompano Beach, FL. We are looking for
elementary schools in these areas who might be willing to share community
information with our school. We are a small K-12 (430 students) rural
school district near Madison. We want to compare our local businesses,
government, health and fire services, schools, and transportation to these
