TECH: Helpful hint computer sheet for teachers

I just attended a two day workshop on troubleshooting and maintaining
computers.  I want to put the most important things--like waiting 30 seconds
before turning power back on--into a one or two page tip sheet for teachers.
Have any of you developed such a vehicle? If you send me your best tips I'll
combine and post a hit in a couple of weeks.
