Call to Action

Dear all:

After reading Mike's Call to Action, I e-mailed him.  I edit a newsletter
for a local Library Association and know that many of my members do not
subscribe to LM_NET (for a variety of reasons, including a lack of e-mail
access).  I asked him for permission to reprint his post in our next issue.

His response was an immediate "yes", and he encourages all of us to share
this and the rest of the discussion with friends, colleagues, etc. who may
not have access to LM_NET.
