Target: MID: Orientation suggestions for SpEd and ESL students

I will be doing an orientation to the library for all our fifth grade teams
next week.  Small groups of SpEd students will also be visiting the library
with their teachers for an orientation.  And Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking
students in the ESL program will visit the library as well.  All the students
are in grade 5.

I would appreciate any suggestions you might have for read-alouds which you
have used with similar groups.  And any ideas for making their visit enjoyable
and meaningful.

Thank you to this helpful group.  It seems that so many questions you pose are
ones which I also wonder about.
