Re:  Your query about Disney's Video Leasing Library - Think carefully about
your staff video needs before signing up- it's a lot of $$.  Our principal
signed up for the lease - responding to sales pitch which really sounds good.
The videos circulated out of the library and saw very little use - am not
really sure of reasons why except that   1) Content was on the young side (in
fact for 2nd year we tried "upping" the grade level of our collection a bit,
but it didn't help)             2)The videos are NOT complete videos but are 
excerts of
15-30 min. that are designed to fit into units - so if a teacher was designing
a unit from scratch it would work.  Often I find that teachers are looking for
a video to end a unit, fill in, have for emergency sub or something!  The
videos that did get used were those that I popped in a teacher's mailbox and
said - hey look what's here that you could use w/ your Arctic unit!
