My library is open - all the time that is. It is located in an open space
where 8' walls have been built in a room with 12' a ceiling. There are no
doors to lock or secure the library. This is not new, it has been this way
for a good number of years - before my time here. When I was hired 4 years
ago it was said that there would be a new library this year. It is now four
years out. My question is this: those of you that have this arrangement how
do you handle it? When teachers come in at night and on weekends some of
them want to check books out. (we are automated). After I leave the library
is open, students staying for sports or after school activities wander
through. Theft is not really a problem, I just am interested if other
people have the same problem.

Thank for the third time today. I think I have used up my qouta.
