Does anyone have any good gimmicks or promos that we could use? I'll take any ideas on any theme. In the past we have had contests, games, chants, songs, art projects, sack lunches with prizes, decorations in the library, book mark contests, and rousing convocations. I will post a HIT. Last year after Book Week we launched "Reach for Magic - READ!" When the entire school had reached 25,000 points our principal performed a magic show. As the kids were earning points, for each 1000 points that a grade earned our principal had his tie cut off in the cafeteria by a child from that grade. We made a display of these ties around the office and close to the HUGE graph that was recording the Read for Magic points. Our principal would like a different gimmick for this year. Does anyone have any ideas??? I will post a HIT.
