While importing MARC records into Athena, I got the message that one was bad and would be put in the bad.001 file in the Athena directory. I went into File Manager (we're using Windows 3.1) and found the file, authorized it to open in Write, and all I got was a little square. I need to know what record on the disk is bad, but none of the other choices that I had seemed appropriate for this. The machine does not have any other word processor on it and will not open in plain text either. How can I open this file? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Madeline L. Buchanan Voice: (205) 838-7666 Library Media Specialist Fax: (205) 838-7622 W. J.
