More and more, I'm wondering if the whole idea of *Place of publication* is getting to be irrelevant in current bibliographic citations. Since so many publishers are becoming multi-national, not to mention multi-format, I think just having the NAME of the publisher should be sufficient (esp. considering how much else -- URL's, date of access, etc. -- must now be included in the citation.). Our kids sometimes have enough trouble identifying the author and title; why make it even more complicated? Alice H.
