Oh Yes!!! I loved the Little Maid Series, and I remember reading the Little Maid of Fort Ticonderoga. I seem to remember one of them was about a whaling village. I grew up in Stonington, CT (Mystic is part of Stonington), and thought that one was just great--I don't remember the title.
