I've been reading this thread with great enjoyment. My absolute favorite
books were the Ginny and Geneva books by Catherine Wooley. I read them over
and over.  Other favorites of mine were the Little House Books by Laura
Ingalls Wilder and Cherry Ames. I still have my set of Little House books
and the Cherry Ames books that had belonged to my mother.
