ELEM:Jo Ellen Bogart activities

I am so excited to be having Jo Ellen Bogart all day in my library in May as
part of Catholic Education Week.  I have split my 10 primary classes into
three groups of 80 kids each.  She will be doing three 40 min presentations
to grades 1, 2 and 3.  The two groups not listening to her presentation will
be attending workshops (in smaller groups) on a rotating schedule.  At the
end of the day we will all share our projects.  I have some ideas for
activities I will do but if anyone else has ideas they would like to
contribute I would be eternally grateful.

Gifts is my favourite book of hers, including themes appropriate to the UN's
"year of the older person" as well as multiculturalism.  It is also the
title I seem to have the most ideas for!
