Favorite books

To continue this topic:
My favorites include _The Princess and the Goblin_ and  _The Princess
and Curdie_ by George MacDonald, illus. by Arthur Hughes. Probably what
got me started on the fantasy and Sci-Fi books I enjoy now! I also loved
all of _The Story of..._ biographies. They were all 92 pages long and
had orange covers! Also the _We Were There at..._ series of historical
fiction. Probably one reason I ended up a history major in college! And
what about Jean Stratton-Porter's  _Freckles_, _Freckles Comes Home_ ,
etc?! Another favorite _Daddy Long-legs_ by Jean Webster.
I also have enjoyed this trip down memory lane!
