Regarding favorite illustrators:  Grahme Base, Ezra Jack Keats, Shepard,
Sendak, William Wegman(photos), among others.  My BS is in Art Education
so I am particularly drawn to the illustrations. Frequently, I look for
books by my favorite artists instead of the authors!  I love trying to
guess which ones will be the award winners for the year.
