We are looking at Alexandria (Windows NT) as a possibility for our school
districts. The districts have 24 elementary, 4 middle schools and 3 high school
libraries as well as a central Library Media Office. The school districts have
over 14,000 studnets with holding of over 285,000 holdings and a resource
sharing system among the school district libraries as well as other libraries in

the area.

We would appreciate any information regarding your experiences with Alexandria
in the following areas:

1.Use of a union catalog as well as each library having a catalog of its own
holdings on each pac station.
2.Use of a server from a single or multiple sites
3.Specs of server and number of concurrent users
4.z39.50 client and z39.50 server capabilities
5.Sharing of resources among other libraries
6.Capabilities of signaling hold/reserve materials
7.Conversion process used
8.Technical support system adequate / training by company
9.Significant problems encountered
10.Web-based access of your system

Thank you
