Just for fun, I thought I'd share this:

Several of us between the ages of 47 and were discussing CURIOUS GEORGE and
DR. SEUSS and whether we had read them when we were children or just to our
younger brothers and sisters.

Answer:It's likely that many of us grew up with both, but esp. Dr. Seuss!
Dr. Seuss books started 20 years before Curious George and continued with
the last one published a year or so ago (posthumously, with poet Jack
Prelustky).


Here's publication information (garnered from the Library of Congress
Catalog):
