I am the librarian of a small (1A) 7-12 high school starting back Thursday. We are not automated and not on-line. We have a tiny periodical section and tinier budget and cannot afford to subscribe to Reader's Guide. The only way we have for anyone to find an article on a particular topic is to leaf through each issue. Is it legal to make copies of the contents pages and keep them in the library for reference? I was thinking of a couple of sets for each magazine. I really think this would make our magazines a lot more useful and last longer. Please send replies to me via e-mail. We have just returned from vacation and I haven't figured out how to re-start the list yet. TIA!
