TARGET:ELEM:Liberty theme & new school ideas

The nautical theme ideas were so good I'm tempted to change to that
theme!   However, maybe some of you can help with ideas for our new
school.  We will be opening a new K-6 school in a few weeks and I'm
trying to think of promotional ideas.  There is a large replica of the
Statue of Liberty which stands along the interstate near the exit to the
community in which the school is located. (The community is named
Liberty Park.)  I have found a large bulletin board set which includes
the Statue of Liberty, 32 star nametags (I would use these for something
else, I think), and the words of poet Emma Lazarus.  There are also some
Statue of Liberty bookmarks in the Really Good Stuff catalog.  That is
all I have come up with yet.  The school has no colors, mascot, motto,
etc. yet.   I believe there will be t-shirts with rockets on them with
something about "blast off" to a new year.  I would like to tie the
Liberty theme somehow to the school being new if possible and not just
to the name of the school.

Any other new school ideas would be greatly appreciated.
