looking for ideas

I'm new to this listserv and I've just accepted a new position as the Media
Specialist in an intermediate school (grades 3,4,5).  I've been in the field
for 2 years now , but with younger grades.  I'm looking for good ideas and
sites for this age level, specifically good lessons plans.  I've looked at
multiple lesson plan sites, but have yet to find really good library lessons.
 Also, any good short, read aloud stories (10 min. tops), with a
corresponding lesson is what I'm particularly interested in.
