Dear Illinois 'Netters:

The College of DuPage serves as the coordinating agency for a relatively new
program called LTA Illinois, which trains library paraprofessionals through a
distance learning medium.  They are currently seeking an instructor for the
Audiovisual Services class, which is a 2 credit course and web-based.  The
instructor would not need to be located in the Chicago area, and also does
not need to be a school library media specialist; the basic requirement is an
MLS from an ALA-accredited program.

I have been working with the first group to go through this course this
summer, and it has been a wonderful experience.  In the fall, I will be
teaching the class "live" on the COD campus, as well as beginning work on a
second Master's degree, so I will not have the time to do the web-based class
