I was approached recently by someone who wants to set up an endowment fund in their will for a public school library. They want it to be used for books (fiction especially) but is concerned about wording it too specifically with changing technology as to make it limiting. They want the intent of the phrasing worked out before they go to the lawyer. I was thinking of the following: to be used for books, primarily fiction, or other reading materials. Not to be used for salaries, furniture, or hardware. What do you think? ----------- Frederick Muller Halsted Middle School Library 59 Halsted Street Newton, NJ 07860 voice (973) 383-7440 ext.229 Fax (973) 383-7432 My Book reviews are compiled at: http://www.halsted.org/br.htm =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
