I just wanted to second Peggy's comments. HDTV is only one aspect of
digital television. Because each DTV channel will have almost 20 megabits
of bandwidth to distribute content, anything that can be digitized into
1's and 0's can be distributed over the airwaves- websites, multimedia
content, multiple tv streams, etc.

I gave a speech on DTV and its potential impact on education last October
at Tel-Ed in New Orleans. If you're interested in DTV I'd strongly suggest
