Not sure how this would work, but how about on a set date each month ,
say the 15th, Any class who does not have any overdues, gets a point (or
a star, or whatever). Twice a year (e.g. January and June) whichever
classes have received 4 out of 5, or 5 out of 5 stars , gets a ice pop
party, or popcorn party, etc.

Our gym teacher does something similar every semester with classes
being prepared for P.E. (i.e. sneakers). The class with the most stickers
on their sneaker chart, gets a certificate, I think the most certificates
gets a class pizza party.
