The Oregon Reading Association sponsors a picture book award. As part of this they put together kits of the nominated books which teachers and librarians can borrow. the person doing this has just asked me for a good source for the books. She used to get them from a local jobber who has gone out of business. My first thought was Ingram but this past year at a new school we had to jump through a lot of hoops to set up an account and the first order had to be a minimum of $1000 (?). I'm drawing a blank on alternatives. What other high discount sources are there that might be less demanding for her to deal with? With thanks... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jean Townes, Media Specialist townesj@PEAK.ORG Clover Ridge Elementary School Phone: 541-967-4565 Greater Albany Public Schools 2953 Clover Ridge Rd, NE Albany, Or 97321 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
