GEN: Ideas for Cable in the Classroom 10th Anniversary

 Our local Cable in the Classroom sponsor, MediaOne, is planning a 10th
Anniversary and Educators Celebration.  The coordinator has sent out a
request for ideas.  The details are listed below.  If you have some
suggestions, I will appreciate your responses.  Please address them to

MediaOne is holding a 10th anniversary event on Saturday morning, October
30, at CSUF Satellite Student Union - Whitfield Hall.

We want it to be "a Morning of Learning, Celebration, and Motivation" but
instead of the usual break-out sessions, we want to include fun,
different and interesting "whole-group sessions".  (The hall can hold
300+ people.)

*       What are some of the current "hot" topics for teachers
     (...besides or in addition to technology)?
*       What kinds of things are teachers/librarians in search of -- for
     motivation and inspiration?
*       Any ideas for fun, interactive, group activities?
*       Any other thoughts, ideas???
