hi ~ i'm out!   as have others on this list, i've rarely posted but have
often answered privately on various topics.  the wealth of information &
support on this list is staggering.  thank you all for being there and, to
those who are just beginning to re-emerge after a summer off, welcome back.

one question, while i'm here.....does everyone receive a message back from
the moderators on every post they make asking them if they are sure they
"want to post to the list", or is it just me?  seems an awful lot of things
come through which are clearly NOT meant for the whole list, so it makes me
wonder. when pressed for time, it has occasionally caused me to simply abort
the post entirely, since it literally meant having to post the same thing
twice.  am i doing something wrong?
