GEN: Unlurking Day

Hi all,

I have been lurking for around a year and have found this list of friends to
be invaluable.  If I am ever asked a question that I cannot answer (and
there are many) I have the confidence in this group to save the day.  I have
also tried to answer and help when I can.  I am working towards my Master's
degree as a Library Media Specialist and am working in a grades 1 and 2
elementary school as their first ever Library Media Specialist.  I have
managed to set up a flexible schedule with a fixed book check out time.  My
principal is very supportive and I love my job.  We are certified by the New
England Association of School and Colleges (only high schools are required
to certify) so in the future I will be asking for advice about how to get
ready for this recertification process.  Best wishes to all for a great
school year!
