ELEM: ME: Cert. Requirements

I have a friend, a children’s librarian in a public library, who plans
eventually to move to Maine, and would like to get a job in an
elementary school library.  Could someone from the area give me
information to help her find out special requirements beyond the general
librarian degree she has now?
