Hi everybody; I've enjoyed staying in the background but by setting up the
Media Center I came across this question our school has: I'm lookin for an
author/illustrator to be an author/illustrator-in-residence for about four or
five days. He/she would possibly be staying with a family from our K-5
school. We're looking for someone who is really outstanding with the
students-hands-on for possibly writing activities,etc,plus a great workshop
for the staff after school one day and a meeting with parents. We might even
run an assembly displaying our work with this person. We are in CT so we have
quite a few places nearby. We have had authors/illustrators by the day but
this request is a bit different. Can anyone offer any suggestions from past
experiences? Thanks so much for your help.
