This is a wilderness survival story.  Mark and Randy are cousins
who up end up alone on a family tradition - a canoe trip through the
wilderness.  They start out getting to know each other and
eventually liking each other then everything that could go wrong
does.  Randy is diabetic, they lose their canoe, and their supplies
while the clock really begins ticking on Randy's medical needs.
Mark ends up having to leave Randy to go and get help.  This 212
page book is a good coming of age story along with survival tale.
