Tech: Flat screen monitors at circ desks?

Netters:

Have any of you upgraded your circ station monitors to the new "flat"
(slim-line, whatever!) monitors at your circ station? Any problems?

I'm strongly considering this because the current computer/monitor takes up
so much room on the counter, and it's tempting for the kids to jiggle the
connecting hardware attached to the back (I did cover them, leaving what I
hoped is adequate ventilation).

I'll also upgrade the computer itself to a tower unit which can go below
the desk. My tech said all should go well as long as the SUB is compatible
with the scan gun unit.

If anyone else has done this, I'd like to have their input on the process
and any pitfalls to avoid. We're currently using a 3 year-old Power Mac at
the desk, and a 7500 as the library server. We're running Spectrum 4.0 for
circ and opac, and plan to add EBS/Reading Counts soon.
