Don't forget that application guidelines and evaluation criteria for
the 2000 ICPrize for Collaboration through Technology are available on
the ICONnect Web site at

is also available as a PDF document at
<http://www.ala.org/ICONN/pdf/icprizeapplication.pdf>.

Collaborative teams of school library media specialists and classroom
teachers can apply for one of five $1,000 ICPrizes awarded annually as
part of the ICONnect technology iniative of the American Association
of School Librarians, a division of the American Library Association.
The school library media specialist applying for an ICPrize *must* be
a member of ALA/AASL.

To apply, the team must have completed before November 1, 1999 a
curriculum unit that demonstrates both meaningful and effective use of
Internet resources *and* collaborative activities between the library
media specialist(s) and classroom teacher(s).  All applications must
be received in the AASL Office by Monday, November 1, 1999.
Electronic submissions will not be accepted.  See the application
guidelines and evaluation criteria for complete requirements.
