Don't forget that application guidelines and evaluation criteria for the 2000 ICPrize for Collaboration through Technology are available on the ICONnect Web site at <http://www.ala.org/ICONN/icprizeapplication.html>. The application is also available as a PDF document at <http://www.ala.org/ICONN/pdf/icprizeapplication.pdf>. Collaborative teams of school library media specialists and classroom teachers can apply for one of five $1,000 ICPrizes awarded annually as part of the ICONnect technology iniative of the American Association of School Librarians, a division of the American Library Association. The school library media specialist applying for an ICPrize *must* be a member of ALA/AASL. To apply, the team must have completed before November 1, 1999 a curriculum unit that demonstrates both meaningful and effective use of Internet resources *and* collaborative activities between the library media specialist(s) and classroom teacher(s). All applications must be received in the AASL Office by Monday, November 1, 1999. Electronic submissions will not be accepted.
