I have hesitated to post a question on this issue for two years at the risk of grossing anyone out...but I can stand it no longer!!! How do you approach or discourage elementary kiddos from picking their noses?? This is my third year as the elementary librarian. My teaching experience was at the Middle school level, so I was not prepared for all the Kinder, 1st, and 2nd graders openly picking their noses during storytime or other of my presentations. I have tried making eye contact with the picker and shaking my head or even making a blanket announcement "Hands in your lap", but some of those little buggers (pardon the pun) are very persistent!!! Any suggestions or creative approaches? Rhonda Amstutz La Feria ISD rhondaamstutz@yahoo.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
