Here's a toughie for you. I've been looking without success for a long time, so I'm throwing out the challenge! I have a new niece. Research shows that the earlier the exposure to foreign languages, the easier it is for the baby to acquire and speak them later. Apparently they have to hear the inflections, etc. early in order to be able to recognize and mimic them later. I thought if I could find audio books my sister in law could put the baby to bed with a different language each week. I DO NOT WANT "Speak German in 21 days" or any of the learning tapes. I want it to be whole paragraphs versus just phrases. (I don't think you can get a grasp of the language with just phrases.) But, I can't find a source for books on tape read by native speakers of different languages. And I do want it to be native speakers of the language. I don't care whether it's a children's classic or the newspaper that's being read, to be honest. Who's going to know unless they speak it? Have you come across anything? This is turning out to be a stumper, indeed.
