Rainforest novel for 3rd grade reading group?

Hi everyone!
        I am currently on nomail but I have a question I need to ask to help one of 
my third grade
teachers. Does anyone know of a rainforest chapter book that would work with a 
small third grade
reading group? I know there's a book by Jean C. George about the rainforest but I 
don't know what
reading level it's at. The teacher wants something that would take at least two 
weeks for the
group to read bit by bit. If anyone has any suggestions, would you please send them 
to my email
