TECH: changing "from" name

For some reason, email that I send is suddenly going out with my full name
in the "from" box.  I want to change it to first name and initial.  I
know there is a way to do this, but I can't remember for the life of me!
Can somebody help?
I'm using Win98, IE, and Outlook Express 5.0 on an Acer Aspire.
