HIT: Inservice Advice

I did my 20 hour inservice with my fellow area librarians (and 2 classroom
teachers), for which several of you sent me advice.  It went VERY well,
largely because the participants were so pleasant and interested in the
topics.  I used links on a  Filamentality web page
(http://www.kn.pacbell.com/wired/fil/pages/listinfolitja.html) to guide the
class, adjusting each day to their comments on exit cards.  I highly
recommend Filamentality  http://www.kn.pacbell.com/wired/fil/ because you can
edit and add on the spot.  Also, with Internet Explorer, there is an option
you can click to include a table of links-- very popular.

I did some Power Point presentations, some songs,  and showed them how to
Inspiration www.inspiration.com to do brainstorming.  I also recommend Power
Tools from ALA-- it has ready made PP presentations and tons of editable,
useful forms and documents on a CD.
