 We do something similar in our K-1 building, except we use transparent
vinyl envelopes (about 9" x 11" with opening on top, with a string you
loop around,runs about $1 each in Staples). We used to used manila
envelopes that we had laminated but they 1) fell apart quickly, and 2)
were not see through, so we often had students returning an empty
envelope.
