ELEM: Birthday book club letters to parents

Dear "Netters,"
     My new principal recently suggested starting a birthday book club.  It
is something I'd thought of and just never got around to doing.  I've read
much from the archives about the pros and cons and different methods  of
handling such a program; however, I've not found copies of any letters
librarians send home to parents.
     I would very much appreciate copies of any letters you might use to
inform parents of such a program.  My school FAX is 716-627-3132.  Snail
mail or E-mail would be fine also.
     Thank you ever so much for your help.  I have a limited amount of time
to get this off the ground, so every little bit helps!
