Thanks to all those who replied. Many of the suggestions were regarding standard web browsers; altavista, etc What I am really after is a search engine I can take home, put on my internal data base and search that - a sort of customised library wizard. The closest candidate seems to be a product called Web-Search from http:www.web-search.com Has anybody used this software? Any clues or advice? Thanks again, Dr Arthur Winzenried Head of Library Eltham College Victoria, Australia awinzenried@elthamcollege.vic.edu.au http://www.elthamcollege.vic.edu.au =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
