    Hi, this is an addendum to my request from 12/4 for simple projects to do
in conjunction with novice teachers (grades 2-5).  Someone reminded me that I
should have been more specific on my technology set-up.
    In the media center I have 6 networked PCs with IE 5 and I have access to
a lab with 20 PCs also with IE 5.  Most classrooms have one PC with IE 5.
    I would definitely introduce the project in the media center or lab and
give students the opportunity to follow-up that initial introduction in the
lab.  It would be good to have some ideas for the one-computer classrooms too.
    Thanks to all who have already sent ideas; I'll post a hit soon.
