Email and Chat Rooms

Hello, I'm a librarian at a high school,  and I allow the students to
access their email and chat rooms before school and after school - but not
during school hours.  Our technology head wants to cut it out all together
because of future liability to the school district.  I wonder what other
high school media centers are doing??  Thanks. Deb Jones.
