Sprinkler systems

Hello all,
   It just occurred to me to ask you all and since we get out tomorrow I'd
appreciate any responses right away.
   The fire marshall has decided that the school basement (where the
library is) needs to have sprinklers installed.  I've argued about it but
gotten nowwhere.  Anyway, I just found out the other day that they plan on
doing the work over this break.  The principal suggested that we put
everything away.  I suggested plastic sheeting.  Haven't heard back on
that.
  Anyway, I was curious as to whether any of you had had this done in your
library, how much mess was made, anything damaged, etc.
