A request for help: I am currently earning an MLS and working at an international school in Japan. I am interested in briefly visiting and observing (or having extensive e-mail contact with) international schools that have successfully implemented a program like that advocated in Information Power. I will be travelling in the week of March 8-12, 1999, and would like to know if anyone would be willing to take some time to show me around their program. I already have some interest in some schools in Europe. If my travel plans (and budget) don't match your location, I would still appreciate contact from schools who are succeeding with this challenge. I realize this is a rather vague request, but I am looking to observe successful programs to avoid reinventing the proverbial wheel. Any interested library/media centers please reply.
