Hi, I have a teacher who saw an interview last year with June Wandry who wrote Bedpan Commando a book about World War II nurses. Mrs. Wandry was one herself. The book has been backordered from Amazon since September so I have not been able to get it from them or Follett. The teacher would like to know if she is available to speak at schools. We know she lives in Kalamazoo, MI but her number is unlisted as far as we can tell. If anyone has an address or some way to locate her, it would be greatly appreciated. The teacher who is a world History teacher would also like other speakers to come to our school and speak from first hand experience. Are there lists of speakers that are available? We are checking with the State Library of Michigan.
