TARGET: Great Big Enormous Turnip, variant version?

Help, please! We are looking for a cumulative story introduced recently at a teacher
workshop. The story is a variant version of "The Great Big Enormous
Turnip" folktale, but this version involves characters from Mother Goose
rhymes and a watermelon. Anyone recognize this story?
