I am running a reading incentive program for primaries called "Cross-Canada
Readathon" and am looking for picture books by authors from every province
and territory or, alternatively, books with the setting of each province or
territory even if the author doesn't actually live there (eg. I will be
using Ted Harrison's books for NWT and Yukon even though he doesn't live
there any more and wasn't born in Canada)

The places I am having trouble with are New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.
Does anyone have any suggestions of any authors who either live there or
were born there or, alternatively, any Candian picture books that have an
"east coast" flavour??

Once I have made my decisions I would be happy to post a list of
titles/authors for all 13 provinces and territories for anyone interested
in running a similar theme.
