In the continuing saga of renovating our library (Pre-K through 6), we
are now considering doing away with the Circulation desk. (It would
save space, and we rarely sit there anyway.) Instead we would have a
standing check-out station at each of the two entrances, with the
bookdrop behind one of them. Has anyone tried something like this?
What are the ramifications?

Thanks for all the help in the past--and to come. We are considering
naming it "The LM_NET Memorial Library," or something like that.
